What you’ll be doing...

You'll be a key part of a Verizon Program Management Office (PMO) team supporting a large customer utilizing a broad spectrum of Verizon products and solutions.

Your primary role will be as the Service Delivery/Change Manager, working to ensure that all aspects of new service delivery and MACD activity is governed efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction. Some specific tasks include the following:

  • Providing regular status readouts to the customer in both written and audio/video meetings
  • Working with internal Verizon teams to manage deliverables and address issues related to service delivery
  • Tracking change and disconnect activity ad working with the Financial team to assist them with resolution to billing issues related to service delivery
  • Participating in monthly service governance reviews with key customer stake holders

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • ITIL v3 Certification, or will obtain certification within 6 months of your start date.
  • Worked in a client facing role and resolved operational problems.
  • Managed and negotiated with internal and external organizations.
  • Willingness to be on call for after-hours support as needed.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of leadership.
  • Project Management experience and/or skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
  • Proactive, responsible and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Supervisory experience.
