The Technician Support Representative works closely withthird party vendors to validate operability of units installed and ensure established policies and procedures are being followed by the contracted installers. The Technician Support Representative provides tier 2 support to our third party vendors completing and checking in installs in the field.

  • Provide third party vendors technical assistance with telematics hardware installations.
  • Validate units installed are reporting correctly using supporting tools and research
  • Making sure vehicle is wired correctly (via verbal instructions on the phone as needed)
  • Validate that the hardware solution installed is aligned with software and vehicle requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with non-reporting units (NRU’s)
  • Propose alternate hardware solutions when necessary
  • Utilize SMS commands to ensure hardware is operating correctly
  • Validate hardware configurations/firmware and update when required
  • Validate and update units with appropriate peripherals (driver id, logbook, and Garmin)

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically; Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of G-Suite (Google Drive, Gmail, etc)
  • One or more years of experience in customer- facing role

Even better if you have:

  • Associates degree.
  • One or more years of experience in a professional environment in a technical capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of vehicle electronic components, telematics installations, hardware and electrical installations, etc.
  • Salesforce, SAP, Netsuite, Slack, Ariba, Libra, Fleetcare, Toolbox
  • Working knowledge of Reveal & Fleet HW products and/or processes.
