What you’ll be doing...
The Data Repair Engineer will troubleshoot and drive service restoration of Local, State, Federal Government and Commercial circuits. The position, located in Cary, NC, will work with a team of professionals who are proficient with providing support, initial triage, isolation, technical support and escalations toward prompt resolutions in a 24x7 environment under the ITIL v3 framework. This engineer will reactively respond to customer service impacting issues and take all necessary measures to restore service as quickly as possible. The engineer will ensure the customer is fully and frequently updated, the incident is promptly investigated, actions are recorded, and the proper resources are engaged for immediate resolution. A high focus on quality and reduction of repeat incidents is critical.
What we’re looking for...
You are an engineer with a thorough understanding of Data Networks and the technologies employed. You will have very strong analytical skills and an ability to dig into the details to isolate and fix the root cause of the problem. You are organized, detail oriented, team centric, and have a keen sense of urgency in resolving problems, all while maintaining a focus on the customer at all times. You have the ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
