The Medbill Customer
Service Representative reports to the Workers Compensation Bill review
Processing Center in Syracuse NY.
The Medbill CSR resolves
and answers routine billing problems and questions from providers, insureds,
injured workers and adjusters.
- Taking inbound customer
inquiries and making outbound calls to resolve billing problems, while
navigating multiple computer screens and entering account information.
- Provide support as needed, such
as running reports, following up with persons inside or outside the
company to gather necessary information.
- Sending faxes and
correspondence when necessary.
- Additional projects/duties as
assigned by the Team Leader.

work 8:30-5:00 or 8:00-5:00 Monday- Friday.
- 2 years of experience in
customer service or call center environment helpful
- Requires excellent spoken
communication skills as well as an excellent telephone manner
- Requires an ability to break
down explanations of complex processes and rules into manageable
- Requires a demonstrated level
of competency in critical thinking initiative willingness to act
ability to deal with ambiguity customer focus composure active
listening time management priority setting and ability to multi-task.
- Medical terminology and coding
- Requires computer literacy and
strong keyboard skills
- High school diploma or
