Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative is a key sales position. The individual in this role is responsible for selling internet based safety management tools, as well as publication services, to existing and prospective customers using a direct calling sales approach.
Responsibilities:
• Qualify accounts to determine sales opportunities
• Sell the applicable service to existing and prospective customers
• Manage the sales cycle to gain a purchasing decision within a 30 day trial period
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customer, industry and regulatory issues
• Service all customers, internal and external, in a professional manner which builds on previously established relationships between the customer and J.J. Keller
• Accurately complete and process all necessary documentation related to customers
Requirements:
• 1+ years of telemarketing or sales related experience
• Ability to reach the decision maker and sell an intangible service to management level prospects
• Expertise at establishing a rapport and engaging the customer
• Skill at implementing an assumptive and direct sales approach
• Self-motivated, fearless and strong desire to succeed
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Computer literacy and competency with internet applications
Preferred Skills:
• Business-to-business sales experience
• Experience in direct telephone sales and/or inside sales
